My name is Steven Turner, and I’m a self-taught artist from central Illinois with over two years of experience drawing live caricatures at high-traffic outdoor malls, state fairs, and festivals.

What I love most about caricature art is that moment when a customer sees their drawing for the first time — the surprise, the laughter, and the joy it brings. I thrive on creative challenges, and my favorite pieces are always the ones that push me to try something new, whether it’s experimenting with characters, poses, props, themes, or styles.

For me, every caricature is more than a drawing — it’s a chance to connect with people, spark smiles, and celebrate what makes each person one of a kind.
