In (2006) Mike Head started stand-up comedy on a dare.  His co-workers and family members thought his foolishness and celebrity impersonations needed a platform. 

In recent years he was given an opportunity to showcase his comedic acting ability in the Lifetime feature film “With This Ring” (Amazon Prime) directed by Nzingha Stewart.

Mike has also shared the screen with seasoned entertainers/actors such as George Wallace and actress Jo Marie Payton in the comedy/drama 'Jerico' (Amazon Prime) and starred in the independent horror Wormwood Falling (Tubi).

Mike Head's material is always relatable, interactive and fresh with a great mix of a "stand and deliver" style and unexpected, but hilarious "act outs." He was a (2019) f inalist for the nationwide comedy competition Stand-Up for NBC.  In (2013) Mike Head was featured at the Comedy Wings Competition at the American Black Film Festival where he was one of 4 finalists. In (2022) he was a part of the Armed Forces Entertainment tour that brought laughter to American troops stationed in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait. Mike regularly performs on cruise ships, at clubs, churches and corporate events all across the country. He has also been seen on television programs showcasing fresh comedic talent such as Laughs TV on Hulu and Tru TV’s Laff Mob’s Laff Tracks.
