Christie Huff is a country singer songwriter who brings a pop touch to her soulful sound. She’s an LA girl now, but she attributes her country background to growing up in Arizona. Trips to Nashville several times a year to cowrite with other country songwriters keep her ties to country strong. She recorded 2 CDs in Nashville, and is now working on a new EP in LA that’s being produced by Avi Kaplan, formerly of Pentatonix. Starting out as a solo acoustic performer, Christie is well-known in LA and Orange County, and she now performs her original songs both acoustically and with her band at venues including Hotel Café and The Viper Room in LA. She recently opened for Chris Bandi at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Toby Keith at Coastal Country Jam in Huntington Beach California, Bebe Rexha at Phoenix Pride, Ashley Monroe at The Hotel Cafe, just got off a month long tour of 17 shows on her way to play at CountryFest in Wisconsin to open up for Jason Aldean, and opened up for yet another country superstar, Billy Currington, at the Boots In The Park Festival in Norco and Fresno California. Christie recently released her single “The Way You Move”, which has been described as a “combination of the current pulse of Nashville with elements of hip hop, pop, and a sultry melody.” It was also a Top 10 finisher in Popstar Magazine’s Rising Stars Top 40. She released her second single, “Dream Catcher”, from her upcoming EP, produced by Avi Kaplan, last February. You can also find her on youTube, where she has several music videos including the award-winning “Soldier Song”, as well as an increasingly popular series called Christie’s Couch Sessions. Each week, she collaborates with another artist from the LA or Nashville scene on an original song, cover, or mashup. Christie is excited for 2019, she plans to release a new single every 2 months. Her first single of 2019, “Urban Love” was released January 25th and made the New Music Nashville Spotify Playlist for 4 weeks in a row as well as the Wild Country, Pop-CO, New Boots and Nashville Stripped Spotify Playlists. “Urban Love” has received over 500,000 streams on Spotify since being released in January. Her latest single “Black and White” made the New Music Nashville playlist as well as received over 50,000 streams after 2 weeks of being released. “Black and White” is currently on the Wild Country, New Boots, and Pop-Co Spotify Playlists. Look out for more music by Christie released this year!
