World-record breaking balloon artist Brian Getz began twisting balloons 13 years ago when his sister got him a simple kit for Christmas. This fun hobby quickly became an exciting career working with universities, corporations and churches. Based in Indianapolis, Brian has entertained in 14 different countries and 32 states. He has worked with schools in Uganda, entertained on cruise ships, taught balloon art in Bosnia, and been awarded at three international balloon conferences. Leaving behind simple dogs and swords, Brian’s enthusiasm and wit help him entertain children and adults alike, while improvisation and experience allow him to create any animal, person or sculpture out of balloons. In 2015, Brian broke the Guinness world record for the largest modelling balloon sculpture by a team, creating an 88-foot dragonfly. He looks forward to visiting your campus, working with student volunteers to make a giant sculpture of your mascot, then entertaining with balloons.

Brian's signature "Super Sculptures" takes balloon art to new levels, creating enormous installations like a full size elephant, 27 foot biplane and a 3000 balloon roller coaster. His passion is not only creating great art but keeping the audience laughing while he does it.

We had Brian come to our college campus after meeting him at an APCA conference. He was on campus the entire day to build a giant balloon sculpture of our mascot, the Griffin, and we were not disappointed! No matter what walk of life you come from, you can’t help but stop and stare amazingly at the things this guy can do with balloons. We even had Brian do mini balloon sculptures of our college president and her 2 dogs- which she got an absolute kick out of! We received nothing but positive feedback and amazement from everyone who walked by as we created our balloon griffin. The best part is the student involvement that Brian incorporates into his creation; students are involved in the entire process, which they love! I would recommend Brian for any event!

Brian helped us erect a Griffin to celebrate our inauguration of a new president. The Griffin looked great and definitely captured the attention of our campus community.
